WARRANTY POLICIES

Limited Lifetime Warranty Products

All sales are final. We do not offer refunds, returns or exchanges. However, at dotmod we stand behind our products and are pleased to offer a limited lifetime warranty on manufacturing defects.

WHAT DOES THE WARRANTY COVER?

Authentic dotmod products determined by dotmod to have manufacturing, material or workmanship defects.

WHAT IS NOT COVERED BY THIS WARRANTY?

  1. Damage of a product resulting from negligence or misuse
  2. Damage of a product resulting from improper handling, transport or storage
  3. Damage of a product resulting from user modification of the product
  4. Damage caused by natural disaster
  5. Products with external signs of damage
  6. Theft or loss of the product (including loss in transit)
  7. E-liquids and damage caused by e-liquid or water
  8. Batteries and damage to a product caused by a battery
  9. Disposable products
  10. dotPod Nano or dotStick Revo
  11. Coils
  12. Clones and counterfeit products and products that cannot be verified as authentic dotmod products
  13. Products that have been transferred from the original retail purchaser to subsequent parties (including auction style websites such as eBay)
  14. Color discrepancies: certain manufacturing materials or processes do not allow for a perfect color match across all products, colors may vary slightly
  15. Tarnishing of bare metal finishes
  16. Packing or shipping errors (please see shipping policy)

HOW LONG IS THE WARRANTY PERIOD?

This is a limited lifetime warranty for products deemed by dotmod to have manufacturing, material or workmanship defects, provided all other conditions are met.

WHAT DO I NEED TO DO?

Send an email to customerservice@dotmod.com. Please include the following information:

  • Your name
  • Your address
  • Where you purchased your product
  • Picture or photocopy of a receipt
  • Picture of the product clearly showing the serial number
  • Picture or photocopy of authenticity certificate
  • Description of your concern/issue
  • Photograph or video of the issue

WHAT HAPPENS NEXT?

Our customer service department will contact you and attempt to troubleshoot the issue with you. If that does not resolve the issue, our customer service department will provide instructions for sending the product to dotmod and will remain in contact with you until resolution of the issue.

WHEN RETURNING A PRODUCT TO DOTMOD:

  • Please be sure to return the item in its original dotmod packaging with all pieces, instructions, and certificates included.
  • Please place a paper INSIDE the mailing package with your name and contact information on it.

WHAT WILL DOTMOD DO WITH MY RETURNED PRODUCT?

If we are able to repair the product our Customer Service department will inform you, perform the repair, and return the product to you. Dotmod will cover the shipping fees for the return of the repaired product.

If we are unable to repair your product, and the product was purchased 90 days or less from the date you contacted Customer Service about the issue, you may select between a credit equal to the purchase price of the unrepairable product, or a replacement product of equal or lesser value. Please note due to the high demand of limited editions and limited releases, replacement with the exact product and/or color is not guaranteed. If replacement is selected, dotmod will cover the shipping fees for the replaced product.

If we are unable to repair your product, and the product was purchased 91 or more days from the date you contacted Customer Service about the issue, dotmod will issue you a credit equal to 50% of the purchase price of the unrepairable product.

ARE THERE ANY COSTS I HAVE TO PAY?

Yes, you are responsible for the cost of shipping an item back to dotmod for warranty services. If your product is determined by dotmod to be under warranty, the replacement or repaired product will be returned at no cost to you. If dotmod determines your product is not under warranty, you will be responsible for the cost of shipping the item back to you. If you choose not to pay for return shipping of a non-warrantied product, you will forfeit that product. Dotmod does not pay for the return shipping of products not under warranty.

dotPod Nano & dotstick Revo limited 90-day warranty policy

All sales are final. We do not offer refunds, returns or exchanges. However, at dotmod we stand behind our products and are pleased to offer a 90-day limited warranty on manufacturing defects for the dotStick Revo & dotPod Nano.

Authentic dotmod Revo and Nano products determined by dotmod to have manufacturing, material or workmanship defects.

WHAT IS NOT COVERED BY THIS WARRANTY?

This warranty covers dotmod Revo and Nano products for a period of 90 days from original purchase date. This is a 90-day limited warranty for products deemed by dotmod to have manufacturing, material or workmanship defects, provided all other conditions are met.

DISPOSABLE PRODUCT 14-DAY LIMITED RETURN & WARRANTY POLICY

We are pleased to offer a 14-day return policy for unopened and unused disposable products.

WHAT DOES THE WARRANTY COVER?

Authentic dotmod disposable products deemed by dotmod to have manufacturing, material or workmanship defects for a period of up to fourteen (14) days from the date of retail purchase.

WHAT IS NOT COVERED BY THIS WARRANTY?

  1. Non-disposable products (see Limited Lifetime Warranty)
  2. Cosmetic damage that does not affect usage
  3. Damage of a product resulting from negligence or misuse
  4. Damage of a product resulting from improper handling, transport or storage
  5. Damage of a product resulting from user modification of the product
  6. Opening, disassembling, or tampering with the device in any way
  7. Damage caused by natural disaster
  8. Products with external signs of damage
  9. Theft or loss of the product (including loss in transit)
  10. A pod that has 20% or less of juice left
  11. Normal performance degradation of batteries
  12. Clones and counterfeit products and products that cannot be verified as authentic dotmod products
  13. Products that are no longer in your possession
  14. Products that have been transferred from the original retail purchaser to subsequent parties (including auction style websites such as eBay)
  15. Color discrepancies: certain manufacturing materials or processes do not allow for a perfect color match across all products, colors may vary slightly
  16. Packing or shipping errors (please see shipping policy)

SHIPPING & CUSTOMS

PACT ACT - SHIPPING ANNOUNCEMENT 

Starting March 27, 2021 the PACT will require online retailers to collect state and local excise taxes on vaping products and require Adult Signature (21+) with I.D. check on all deliveries nationwide. Other compliance requirements include labeling and packaging, record-keeping, and State and Federal registration and reporting.

In addition to these requirements, most major shipping carriers will no longer be shipping vaping products. However, dotmod Inc. is committed to providing our vaping products to as many customers as possible. Our team will be using a new shipping solution which is in compliance with the different state and federal laws.

Unfortunately, we may not have full shipping coverage for the initial rollout with new shipping carriers and may not be able to serve our entire customer base due to lack of carrier service. However, we are constantly looking into ways to expand shipping to all locations. Shipping options, costs, and coverage area will be made available during the checkout process once this carrier has become available on our site. If we are unable to ship to your State or Address, there will be no shipping options available to complete the checkout process.

GENERAL SHIPPING INFORMATION

SHIPPING

Our shipping department is open Monday – Friday. We are unable to process orders on weekends and major holidays. Please allow 1-2 business days for processing and packing of your order (business days do not include weekends or holidays). Shipping time is in addition to processing and packing time.

dotmod reserves the right to ship products from any warehouse where the products are available, tariff fees may apply.

SHIPPING FEES

Shipping fees are determined by the carrier and are charged at the time of shipping. Shipping fees are non-refundable.

VALUE ADDED TAX, CUSTOMS & DUTIES

Some countries may impose fees and taxes on shipments. These fees are not included in the shipping fee you pay to dotmod, Inc. and it is your responsibility to pay them.

SPLIT SHIPMENT

dotmod, Inc. will make every attempt to ship all products contained within one order at the same time. Products that are unavailable at the time of shipping will be shipped as soon as they become available.

LOST IN TRANSIT

Dotmod, Inc., is not responsible for packages lost or damaged in transit. We will, however, do our best to assist you once you have filed a claim with the carrier:

Deliveries within USA

Please contact the carrier and file a claim. Then contact customerservice@dotmod.com and provide the claim number. We are happy to assist in locating your package. Once the carrier pays the claim we will gladly replace or refund your order.

All other countries

Please contact the carrier in your area to file a claim and complete any paperwork they require the intended recipient to complete.

UNINSURED SHIPPING OPTION ALERT

THIS OPTION DOES NOT ALLOW CLAIMS FOR LOST, STOLEN OR DAMAGED PACKAGES.  Selecting an uninsured shipping option for your order means you understand that dotmod, Inc. is unable to assist in locating your late or missing package and can not replace your products if the package is lost, stolen or damaged in transit. Also please be advised that uninsured shipping options do not allow for guaranteed shipping times or delivery dates, and shipping can take up to two weeks or more.  

FREIGHT FORWARDER ALERT

Dotmod, Inc. is not responsible for orders that are shipped to freight forwarders. Selecting to have your order shipped to a freight forwarder means you understand Dotmod is unable to assist or replace your products if the package is lost, stolen or damaged in transit. If you have issues with an order using a freight forwarder, please contact the shipping carrier or freight forwarder for assistance.  

FULFILLMENT ERRORS

Please inspect your order as soon as possible upon receipt. Requests to correct fulfillment mistakes must be received by dotmod, Inc. within 72 hours of delivery.

If there are any issues with your shipment, please save all external and internal packaging materials, packing slips, and any other document inserts. Please contact customerservice@dotmod.com as soon as possible regarding any errors.

What Information Do I Need to Provide?

  • Photocopies of all shipping documents and packing slips
  • Information on what products are missing/wrong
  • If applicable, photocopies, photographs or video of the issue

What happens next?

Customer Service will create a ticket in our system and work with you until resolution of the issue.

This is a challenging task due to the sheer number of regulations globally, and the rapid pace at which they are added or changed; however, we remain committed to providing quality vape products to adults in all areas where retail sales are legally allowed.

To the extent allowed by law, dotmod, Inc. is not liable for any incidental or consequential damages that result from the use of, or the inability to use, the materials on this website. dotmod, Inc. will not be held liable for any personal and/or property damage, illness, injury or financial loss caused by the use of the products, or inability to use the products purchased from dotmod, Inc.

THIRD PARTY AGE VERIFICATION

Dotmod products are for adults of legal age in their country/state of residence. Sale to or use by minors is strictly prohibited. Our website uses a third-party age verification system called Blue Check to ensure our products are sold only to consumers of legal age. Please contact customerservice@dotmod.com if you require assistance with age verification.
